I reached Changi Airport's Terminal 2 at 16 00. I sat down at Gloria Jeans Coffee and bought a very vanilla latte and a chocolate truffle cake. I read a book till 17 00++ and saw a throng of girls gathering at a distance. I though "OH? Maybe these girls know which belt they are arriving at." So I followed them.
*skip skip skip*
Wrong belt. When the belt number on the flight information was finally released online, everybody ran to the correct belt number and waited. Trust me, there were at least 2000 shawols there, boys included. I strolled/skipped there instead of running. I've only managed to grab a spot in the second row. That was at 18 00. At 19 00, the shawols squeezing behind me helped me to grab a spot in the front. That means that I'm as close as I can get. There were reporters, people from the Esplanade and all. OMG. At 19 30, I was so squashed up that I could reach my phone. At 20 00, I can't move at all. My entire body went numb. It was so tight that I felt like gagging. But I persisted, in the hope of getting some nice shots of SHINee. My mind was racing. "OMG, I GET TO SEE TAEMIN. AND I'M REALLY THIS CLOSE."
20 30: Shawols started chanting "SHINee! SHINee!" Screams and squeals were heard for the past hour and it continued in the same crazy manner. 2100, "Why are we waiting?" They were delayed whereas other passengers on the same flight had left quite some time ago. 21 30, still no sight of them. There were many false alarms. But finally, at 21 40, SHINee was spotted. They were walking towards the gate. AND OMG, THEY WERE SO CLOSE. I WAS JUST MUTE FROM SHOCK. I SAW TAEMIN, JONGHYUN & MINHO. I think I was too excited to spot Key and Onew, but that's alright! I felt like fainting. Everyone was screaming at the top of their lungs. SHINee and their manager and whoever else ran towards the tour bus and shawols followed suit.
Okay, enough talk. Just one last thing... I want to cry. Right now. Firstly, it's because I ACTUALLY SAW THEM. THEY WERE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE CREATED BY GOD. I'm so sorry but they looked so hot in real life! Way better than on camera! Secondly, I didn't get many shots of them D: And the shots that I managed to take were bad.
